It felt like home, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was clean, the hot water worked, and shampoo, body soap, and a hair dryer were provided. The breakfast buffet had lots of choices, though many dishes were too sweet or salty for our foreign palates, which are used to milder flavors. There was a cafe where you could order food and eat, and we enjoyed the real wood fire in the evenings, especially as a warm break from the chilly air. The tasteful decor used lots of natural materials, giving the place a vintage feel. It felt like we were living alongside nature. The hotel was built around trees that were already there, including one that rises through three floors and comes out through the roof. In the morning, we heard birds in the tall pines around the courtyard and walked to breakfast in the soft sunlight and cool mountain air. We stayed for two nights at this wonderful place, easily one of the best hotels we've ever visited.

The mountains and cool weather made for a pleasant stay, and the location in central Lembang is close to almost everything. This beautiful vintage house has plenty of artsy decor, and the breakfast was excellent and tasty. The swimming pool was clean, though the water was cold. Our room was spacious and clean, but the bed and linens were only so-so. Still, we had a lovely stay. ❤️

It felt like staying at my grandmother’s home, only taken up 1000x. The rooms were cozy, the scenery was beautiful, and the whole place had a lazy, homey vibe. Breakfast was excellent, with loads of delicious options.

What stood out was how attentive the team was, with care in every little detail. We couldn't fault anything at Sandalwood. If you come to lembang and skip this hotel, you'll miss out on some of the best hospitality around. A real gem, and simply the best.

Our room was roomy, thoughtfully laid out, and spotless, which made it especially cozy. The home-style decor and cool, fresh air added to the comfort, and the staff were so friendly. One of the best stays we've had.
