We chose a villa over a resort this time because we wanted a quieter, more private place to relax in, especially by the pool. Instead, renovations next door have meant five days of drilling and banging from about 8:30am to 5:30pm, and now paint fumes too. We’ve had to go out every day to get away from it. There are three days left, and I’m feeling pretty angry. The villa itself is clean, modern, spacious, and has an awesome pool, with a pretty good location. That’s why the three stars may seem surprising.

We had a booking at Villa Mawa for April 22-26, 2020. Since COVID restrictions still prevent us from flying from Australia to Indonesia, I’d like to arrange a refund. I’ve sent several messages about this but haven’t received a reply. Many thanks, Lee-Erin Goodfield.

The pool is stunning, the villa is clean, and the location is fantastic. It’s close to everything Legian and Seminyak have to offer. Thoroughly recommend it.

Villa Mawar felt very homey, and we loved staying there. It’s near souvenir shops and restaurants.
