Abian Huts

The immaculate gardens were a real plus, and scooter hire was very inexpensive and easy: they handed over the key, showed us how it worked, and off we went. Things in the fridge were inexpensive too. The staff were obliging and did their best, though our standards may have been different. We arrived at Abian Huts after a very stressful trip with Glory boats. I wrote a separate review of them: it caused huge anxiety, though the trip was actually really good, and we’re just not used to travelling Bali style. A few small things added up to disappointment. The safe didn’t work, but they gave me a key to sort it. A bedside light was out and they fixed it quickly. The drinking glasses and tiles around the sink were dirty, and the fridge was rusty but worked. The door to the ex was jammed shut with the key stuck in it, so they took the lock off. That did compromise security, though not in a realistic way. The place has about a dozen roomy wooden huts with private open-air showers and toilets. I’m pretty organised, so perhaps I just need to accept the Balinese way.

Dream beach and devil's tears are just a few minutes away on foot. A scooter is another option for exploring the rest of the island. This villa in Nusa Lembongan is in a good area, with a restaurant serving local and western food literally around the corner. The owner and staff are very friendly and attentive, everything is well looked after, and the garden is stunning. There’s a great pool for cooling off during the hottest part of the day. Highly recommended.

The staff at Abian Huts were super friendly and ready to help as soon as we had a question. They helped us rent a scooter and dropped us at yellow bridge for our boat to Pendia. The huts were simple, clean, and really comfortable, and the pool was very nice. Dream beach and devil's tear are close by. We had a lovely stay and really recommend it for a relaxed, simple visit to Lembongan.

We liked that the villa was very attractively done and not far from Dream beach and devil tears, where you can watch the sunset. The six rooms have the essentials, including a small fridge, AC, and shower, and the price is very low. The owner can arrange private trips to snorkelling spots. Our personal highlight was swimming with manta rays before the tour groups arrived.
