The setting is genuinely beautiful and unusual, and the staff were lovely and very welcoming. The villa itself, though, feels tired and could use an update. Some things, like the fans, no longer work properly, and it gets very hot indoors since air conditioning is only in the bedrooms. For what you get, I found the price far too high.

The team really looked after us, and the place is beautiful. We thought it was great value and are already trying to work out when we can come back. Just wow.

Such a calm, quiet place, and we regularly saw turtles nearby 🤗 The property was beautiful and kept in great shape. The beds were really comfortable, and the staff were so friendly and helpful.

We felt safe and settled from the very first day, and the staff made that easy. Everyone was wonderfully kind, even the night guard. They arranged whatever we needed, including laundry, special meals, massages, motorbikes, transfers, and reservations. The concierge also sorted the speedboat from Bali to Nusa Lembongan, transport between the Sanur harbor and our Bali hotel, and the ride back to the airport. We could request food ahead, so it was waiting when we arrived. Made is a gifted chef, and we loved both breakfast and the barbecue and Indonesian banquet dinners. The villa is spacious, spotless, and beautifully designed, with no insect problems. Sandy Bay Beach is an easy walk away. We spent a week here, but for the first two days we barely wanted to leave. Watching the huge waves, especially around the full moon, was both calming and energizing, and we even spotted turtles in the ocean. There's something about this place that money alone can't buy. We feel lucky to have stayed and will definitely return. We LOVE this place!
