Hai Tide Beach Resort

Sitting on the balcony was one of the highlights, with direct views over the beach from both lumbungs, plus sunbeds below and a daybed each. We stayed in beachfront lumbungs 4 and 5 in early September, and they were a stunning introduction to Nusa Lembongan. Mushroom beach has turquoise water and pristine sand, insanely beautiful. Some reviews mention limited storage, but we had room for our clothes: 3 big drawers and 2 deep compartments, with space to slide a suitcase under the bed. Lumbung 5 has been renovated and has twin beds, a set of bunks and a very nice bathroom. There are great restaurants and plenty of other food options nearby, and it’s easy to get around the island. We did 2 excellent dives with Hai Tide, and Farli was fantastic. Absolutely highly recommend!

I’ve stayed at Hai Tide resort twice, once in a family beachfront lumbung with my family, then on a girls’ trip with 3 mums and their 3 daughters. Both stays were amazing, and I can’t wait to come back! The bathrooms were spotless both times, the rooms were clean, and the villa pool was perfect. You can’t beat the location in Nusa Lembongan, with restaurants and cafes within walking distance. I loved my morning coffee at Mushroom espresso.

The location is stunning, and it should be perfect, but the music from the venue next door is devastating. Loud thumping fills the room and the outdoor areas. It started at 11.30 and was still going hours later. We’re looking for somewhere else to stay. Heartbreaking to travel all this way for this experience. It would’ve been less stressful at home.

When our room didn’t work out, the staff quickly moved us to one that suited us much better. They were really accommodating, and the hotel has stunning views. Hai Ri Zen, the restaurant on the premises, is really good and worth a detour. Devil's Tears is within walking distance and you don’t want to miss it if you’re nearby.
