Island Garden Huts Lembongan

Wayan and the staff at Island Garden Huts were amazing and took care of everything. We looked forward to breakfast each morning, especially the delicious fresh juice. It’s a bit away from the island’s main stretch, but close to beaches and restaurants on the west side. It rained a lot during our stay, though we made the most of it. My only complaint was what looked like mold on the pillows. With the huts’ design and the humidity, I can’t really blame them.

I booked the four-day yoga break, which included breakfast each day, two yoga sessions daily, a one-hour massage and a three-hour snorkelling trip. We saw manta rays and turtles. It was such good value, and this is the nicest place I’ve stayed in Bali. There’s AC, hot water, an infinity pool and a bar with happy hour. Paula was relaxed, helpful and accommodating. She set me up with Arty, one of her staff, to explore the island by scooter, and that was the best part of my stay. Arty rode safely, was friendly, showed me great viewpoints I wouldn’t have found on my own, and offered to take photos and share stories about the island. Thanks for making it special, Arty! I only wish I’d stayed longer. Highly recommend.

The surroundings are beautiful and well kept, and it’s an easy walk to mushroom bay and all the lovely restaurants and cafes. The staff were amazing and always ready to help. Paula is such a caring host, and don’t miss doing yoga with her! 🙏🏻❣️ If you’re sensitive to noise, keep in mind there are noisy roosters and dogs barking at night.

Paula and her team make you feel at home at Island Garden huts and Yoga Shala. It’s a peaceful oasis with lovely grounds and a great pool. Breakfast was yummy, and it was a treat to have fresh rocket (sp) and cucumber from their hydroponic garden in our omelette. I’ll definitely be back!
