The hotel is a charming, small place with attentive staff, a great pool, and rooms of a high standard. It’s close to everything once you arrive, but still feels pleasantly removed from the busiest area. After the long, winding trip up from the main beach and ferry arrival point, it was nice to find the hotel near the main village cluster above Mushroom Bay. A 400 m walk through a banana plantation gets you near Palm Grove Villas, then it’s about 500 m to the beach. This is a good spot if you don’t want to be right in the middle of it all.

The bungalow had everything we needed and was cozy and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the pool was nice and well kept. It’s also very close to the island’s best beaches and restaurants. Of all the places I stayed during my recent two-month trip around Bali, this was my favorite. I’ll definitely come back. Highly recommended!

Komang and the staff were welcoming and so helpful, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. Breakfast is simple but really tasty, and the pool is beautiful. The location is excellent value: great restaurants are about a five-minute walk away, or less if you go to Tamarind Bay. Mushroom bay is around seven minutes on foot, and there are two decent coffee shops nearby.

The bungalows were nearly perfect, and the pool was lovely. Kencana also has a great location and really friendly staff. We had a fantastic stay.

The beaches are close enough to walk to, and breakfast was really tasty. We felt at home thanks to the very guest-focused staff and their kind hospitality. The resort also has a lovely garden full of palms and flowers, with a refreshing pool, and our room was clean.
