Nusa Bagus Homestay

The AC was powerful, and I appreciated that the owner offered to take me to the beaches on his scooter. I paid him, of course. The place is centrally located, but the entrance and facilities, including the pool, didn't look as advertised. My room was in pretty bad shape: very dirty walls, faulty plugs and no bedspread. There was no hot water, and there was no soundproofing. I could hear the neighbour coughing up phlegm late into the night. I moved to another homestay for the same price, and it was much cleaner and better kept.

We got to our originally planned hotel and found it was disgusting, so at around 8:30pm we called Nusa Bagus Homestay. They were happy to take us in at very short notice for one night. The staff and owners are amazing people. Thank you so much, you really saved us! 10/10 :)

The people here are really friendly, and they kindly made breakfast for us when we had early starts. The homestay is central, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. We had a couple of towels and water on arrival, plus a fridge for keeping food or drinks cold. The internet and AC were great. There's also a small shop for supplies, and they can arrange scooter hire and tours.

The owners, Wayan and Wayan, are super lovely, and you might even meet their energetic great nephew Nyoman. I've stayed here three times now and it's been consistent each visit. The room is clean, the bed comfy, and the bathroom spacious. There's a nice sitting area outside the room, a sparkling pool and great WIFI. It's right on the main road.
