Pemedal Beach Resort

We were two families travelling with teenagers and had two birthdays to celebrate. Both times, the team went out of their way to make the occasion feel special. Agus and the rest of the staff were wonderful, and I hope they make your visit as good as ours. Room service was spectacular on the days we wanted a lie-in, and the resort laundry was very affordable.

The private hut gave us loads of privacy, and our room was lovely and clean. The bathtub looked inviting, though we never got around to using it. A couple of little fixes would help: the toilet rocked when you sat down, shower water could spread across the bathroom if you weren’t careful, and the top bedding could use an update. Coffee was a letdown, with only instant on offer, but there are plenty of nearby cafés with really good coffee. Getting around was easy thanks to the kind staff, who drove us wherever we needed to go. They even took the golf cart partway off road to reach our jungle massage. They also made a special trip to return the iPad we’d accidentally left in our room before catching the ferry. That care really stuck with us. The sunbeds were comfortable and easy to find, and the pool was clean, refreshing, and lovely for a quiet break. We’d seen mixed comments about the food, but enjoyed the chicken and rice we had for lunch. We only had breakfast once, since we preferred Bonzer or Bali Eco Café in the mornings. A small funny thing: the lids from our contact-lens cases went missing, probably mistaken for bottle caps and thrown away. Easy enough to replace, and we had a laugh about it. Also, keep anything sweet, lotion included, put away or ants may find it. They didn’t bother us otherwise. We really enjoyed our time at Pemedal Beach Resort, especially the peaceful setting and warm service. We’d gladly recommend it.

The staff at Pemedal are wonderful, so many of them helped us that I can't name everyone. By the end, they felt like family and we hated leaving. The resort can arrange transport, tours, and nearly anything else at standard prices. They also offer a cooking class, which I haven’t tried yet but hope to next time. The setting is hard to beat, with beachfront views, beach huts and loungers, and a pool that looks out to the ocean. It’s not a huge pool, but there’s usually plenty of space to swim or stand with a cocktail, beer, or soft drink. Restaurants, mini marts, and other essentials are all within walking distance. We ate at the resort restaurant for lunch most days. Thanks, Chef Edy, the ham and cheese toasted sandwich was delicious, and breakfast had lots of options. Our rooms were spacious, clean, and well maintained, with a fridge, safe, hairdryer, and comfortable beds. The bathrooms were huge and there was plenty of hot water. We’ve now stayed at Pemedal Beach Resort twice and loved it both times. We’re coming back to Nusa Lembongan in a few months and have already booked another stay. I highly recommend it if you want sea views, friendly people, and clean, roomy accommodation, and I expect we’ll be back many more times.

Julia deserves a special thank you for the personal care she brought to our stay. She was kind, professional, and attentive, and nothing seemed like too much trouble. She made us feel so well looked after and added something memorable to the visit. The whole team at Pemedal Beach Resort made us feel welcome from the start. The place is peaceful, beautifully kept, and right by the beach. Our room was comfortable and clean, and everything felt thoughtfully cared for.
