Royal Cottage Nusa Lembongan

The shared pool in its surreal setting and the self-contained villas made our stay at Royal Retreat feel special. My partner, mother-in-law, and I spent three nights here and had a fantastic time. We wished we’d made this our base for the whole Bali trip, and I’d stay here again if I return to the island. Ketut and the staff were great hosts. They arranged snorkeling and excursions to Lembongan and Penida, as well as convenient pick-ups and drop-offs. Breakfast was included each day, and the Mushroom Beach area had plenty of good places to eat and drink. There’s also a great massage parlor just outside the alley, a little to the left across the road. Highly recommended!

Ketut looked after my partner and me from the day we arrived through checkout. We stayed for 3d2n and also took his amazing snorkeling tour. The room was clean, and the customer service, tours, and place were all 10/10. I’d recommend booking Ketut’s place.

There are just four rooms in one area, so the place was calm and quiet at night. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with fresh linen and towels. There’s also a deposit box for valuables. It’s close to tourist attractions and the mini harbor at Mushroom beach. A comfy place to stay in Lembongan, and I’ll definitely come back.

The staff were so welcoming and friendly, and we really enjoyed the pool. The room and bathroom were lovely, with wooden details that gave the place a luxury-resort feel. Everything seemed far better than I expected for what I paid. I’m glad I chose Pak Ketut’s place after considering a few options. He was brilliant and easy to communicate with. We only wish we’d booked a longer stay. I’ll definitely return to Lembongan, and I recommend staying here.
