The Green Groves Hostel

We spent a lot of time relaxing by the pool and on the rooftop, watching the sunset and volcano. The local family and staff who run The Green Groves were warm and helpful, and they're involved in lots of island activities, so it's easy to get help with whatever you want to do. You'll need a scooter or bike to get around, but the location worked well for us. Jungutbatu becah is easy to reach for surfing and restaurants, and the Mangroves are nearby for snorkeling, boat tours, and more good restaurants. Ceningan is close too, with even more surfing and places to eat. Before, we'd stayed in one of those areas and tended not to explore much. This time we saw a lot of the island in one go. It's a modern place with a real Lembongan feel. We definitely recommend it if you want to explore these islands!

I spent a week at garden grove and had a great time. It's comfortable and clean, with wifi and AC, good food, a place to relax, and a rooftop as well as a swimming pool that's just right for cooling off. The price is very fair. Best of all are the hosts, who are so kind, caring, and helpful. I wish there were fresh water in the shower, though apparently that's a problem across the whole island. A way to deal with the flies would also be nice so you can eat in peace.

The owner was a great help in finding us some good deals so we could enjoy our time on the island. My only complaint is the surf lessons: 350 000 roupies to be told to paddle and stand up is way overpriced.

Best hostel in Jungutbatu Lembongan! Lots of spots to chill, free parking and wifi, a green atmosphere, and a local owner. There's breakfast, plus a deck where you can watch both sunrise and sunset. 🤙
