The rooms were like holes full of mosquitoes, beside shared bathrooms whose smells came right in. Staff were rude, the showers were cold, and the same money could get you somewhere much better on the island. I strongly advise against staying here. We ate here and got food poisoning. Two of us became sick and went to the hospital, and other guests had also said they'd been sick in the days before. Denying it is disrespectful and dangerous. Worse, there was no staff member available at night to help. Everything was shut, and we couldn't even get water.

We stayed four months ago and had a lot of fun. The rooms were clean, good and affordable, and we played billiards and badminton. The nighttime BBQ was amazing, and breakfast by the lake was lovely. We'd definitely go back someday.

Our holiday turned into a nightmare. One of our three friends got so dehydrated that he was in the hospital and was due to be transferred to Medan the next day. All three of us got food poisoning, so don't eat there. The rooms were tiny, there were no mosquito nets, and mosquitoes swarmed us. Wi-Fi didn't work in the rooms. This place ruined our vacation.

The lake view was perfect, and all the food was delicious and came out quickly. The room was good value, with a big toilet, two chairs and a long table that was useful for doing my makeup. There was also a round table inside and two more chairs outside the room. My room area had a fence, so I could dry my clothes there after swimming. Towels were free, though if they forget to give you one, you can ask. Water bottles aren't free, but you can buy them at the restaurant. It's a favorite of mine.
