Villa Keluarga

The sunsets each night were beautiful, and the villa’s three floors sit up a stepped path to the entrance. We were two families of four and had a fantastic stay, with a great location, helpful staff, and plenty of comfort.

The bedrooms are fine, but the kitchen is run-down and poorly equipped, with very poor utensils. It isn’t really practical for cooking, and there’s not much of a functional kitchen or family space.

I came back for a second stay and loved it just as much. The rooms have lots of space, the view is spectacular, and the location works well. The staff are wonderful and available around the clock. I’d definitely recommend it.

The condition of Keluarga Villa and the manager’s service left us deeply dissatisfied, and the problems brought our vacation to an abrupt end. Our electric bike booking, made weeks ahead, wasn’t available when we arrived. We also had two power shortages, around 2PM on the first and second day. The biggest issue was the water supply, which was disrupted at about 11PM. When we asked for help, the manager said she’d never faced that situation before and asked what else we expected her to do. After we tried several times to explain the difficulty, she suggested using a water dispenser for light cleaning. That made little sense for our group of eight. We asked for alternatives, but she made little effort and kept rejecting our suggestions. With no improvement, we contacted her again. In the end, she told us to travel alone to another location in the middle of the night. That addressed our bathing problem but caused more inconvenience. The next day she even dictated when we could use the water, saying the issue happened island-wide. She showed little empathy and seemed to brush aside her responsibility for an unforeseen problem.
