Villa Lotus

The team made our stay enjoyable, and the villa is awesome. It’s very clean, spacious, and serviced daily, in a great spot with a short walk to the beach and plenty of places to eat. They supplied a large dispenser of cold filtered water and collected our laundry each day. The minibar was well stocked, and the prices were the same as at local shops.

Everything is only a few minutes away on foot, and the staff communicate really well. The villa is so lovely that you almost don’t want to go out and explore. It’s a great base, knowing you’ll come back to such a nice place to rest at night. Couldn’t ask for a better place to stay on this island.

Sebastian, the owner, made this stay especially memorable. He’s an experienced diving instructor who knows the island like nobody else, and his advice can lead you to secret spots and magical places you wouldn’t find on your own. He’s kind and passionate, and goes far beyond what you’d expect from a host. Villa Lotus feels like a hidden paradise in Lembongan. The rooms are stunning, with a mix of luxury, comfort, and authentic island charm. One has a lovely outdoor bathroom that feels like a private tropical spa. The open kitchen is well equipped, and the dining and chill area is a great place to relax, share meals, and spend unforgettable evenings. By far my best stay in a long time!

The location is fantastic, and the staff are wonderfully attentive and go above and beyond. Still, with our baby, the open-plan living area was difficult because there were so many mosquitoes. We could hardly sit outside before getting bitten. Large gaps around the bedroom doors let mosquitoes in, so we had to fend them off every evening. In our view, at this time of year, December, it isn’t suitable for families with small babies. The price was also higher than a 5-star resort, which I don’t think is justified.
