There was room to park a car and a few motorbikes in the yard, and I really liked the peaceful terrace. You can sit out there and relax with hot tea, maybe a cigarette. The owner was kind and helpful, and we got a free dinner of fish and chips. We ate with the owner's family, though I still paid them a tip. There were some pets too, birds, fish, and a hedgehog. I especially loved rere the bird.

Agoda showed five rooms available at the homestay, but when I asked for one, there wasn't a room available.

A nice place.

If you're wondering whether this is a real homestay because the price seems unreasonable, it is real. The owner had ended the partnership with OYO, but OYO still showed the place in its app at a very cheap price. The money doesn't go to the homeowner, it all goes to OYO. The owner has been a victim for years. Check before renting, and don't be tempted by the app's cheap price.

I booked through OYO, but when I arrived at Holy Homestay, the owner wouldn't let me in. They said they no longer partnered with OYO because the price it offered was too low. They wanted me to pay four times as much per night, so I decided right away not to stay.
