It’s worth checking ahead when the power shuts off if you need AC at night, especially during the hot season. The outage is brief, but useful to know before booking. We came in low season and found it a perfect getaway. The rooms had everything we needed, and the staff were excellent. I can imagine the island gets very full during summer, since it’s quite popular.

My friends and I enjoyed every moment here and came away with a memorable experience. The view was absolutely amazing, and my favorite thing was the large swimming pool overlooking the ocean. The staff were friendly, the service was good, and the room was nice and clean. I’d definitely recommend it. See you next time!

We really enjoyed the restaurant, everything we ate was delicious. The hotel is lovely, with pretty rooms and a gorgeous view, and the staff are amazing. It’s possible to snorkel right in front of the hotel, and it’s really worth doing.

Bleu Mathis Gili Asahan gave me the quiet, private escape I was looking for during my few nights there. It’s beautifully done, and the beach view from my room was stunning, especially at sunrise and sunset. The staff were super friendly and helpful while giving me space. Service was excellent, smooth, warm, and responsive. It feels like a hidden gem far from the crowds, with great hospitality and a touch of barefoot luxury.
