If you're not Indonesian, be warned, you may not be able to stay here. Agoda let us book, but when we arrived the hotel said it was full. We later realized foreigners weren't allowed unless they paid a sort of fee to the police, 50k, which we decided to pay. The room was basic, had no window, and only an essential private toilet. The location worked well for train travel, with delicious restaurants nearby and the night market close by. We could see the effort they made to sort things out, and we appreciate it, but it was pretty clear we weren't welcome 😁.

For the price, this is a comfortable place with decent equipment and friendly people. Don't expect a honeymoon hotel for under 200,000 Rupiah, as some of the negative commenters seem to. It's a good option for staying here, and I'd recommend it for what it costs.

The location is very convenient, right beside the road and close to the station, so transit travelers like us often stay here. The staff were friendly, but the rooms weren't very clean, the facilities were below par, and the water smelled. Upgrading the facilities would help.

Near the market and shop houses, and the place is clean, pleasant, and comfortable. But you can't have too many people.
