A good deal for the price.

We booked two air-conditioned rooms on the spot through the booking.com app and paid under 300 thousand after getting a decent discount. The rooms were clean, the hotel grounds felt comfortable, and the staff were friendly. They let us look at the rooms before booking and were fine with us using booking.com to get a great promo, which I really appreciated. The shower worked, the AC was cold, and there was a cupboard, plus chairs and tables to work at. It's quite okay for a family to rest here, and it also works for a business trip. If you want to keep costs down, it's really worth it. Hope this helps anyone looking for somewhere to stay around Lumajang.

My first stay at Spot On/Oyo was a bad experience. The staff were unfriendly and acted like they didn't want anyone staying overnight. When we arrived, they told us to take off our shoes so the floor wouldn't get dirty, even though renovations had left it covered in thick dust that dirtied my socks. They got angry because I was young and we came back at 11 p.m., despite us confirming we'd return late. The receptionist had said there was no curfew because service was 24 hours, as stated on Traveloka. We waited outside nearly half an hour for someone to open the gate. When they finally did, they said we were disturbing the neighbors, even though the neighbors' land was empty and the house under construction wasn't occupied. Charging extra for sharing a bed is fine, but why treat guests so badly? When I asked to borrow a spoon from the kitchen, they asked why I was in there. They didn't give me an extra pillow or blanket, and the painter didn't even serve me at checkout. Please train the staff to treat people better. Thanks.

This was my first stay here, and the service fell short. The booking information said the room could hold two adults, but in practice it was for one, with an extra charge for another person. The information provided wasn't adequate either. Prices and facilities shown when booking through messaging apps like Oyo didn't match what was offered at the property, which really hurts customers who book that way. Access is also limited: if you get hungry at night and want to go out, the door is already closed. I hope management improves the service, the check-in and check-out process, and how clearly the accommodation is described. Thank you.
