The property number Agoda listed connected to the OYO contact center, and the phone number on Google wasn't active. When I arrived for my booking on March 21, 2026, the owner angrily said they had NEVER worked with OYO, Agoda, Traveloka, or similar companies. I found out that five people, myself included, had been scammed by this property that day.

This isn't a hotel scam.

I found out on arrival that the hotel I'd booked through Agoda was fictional. The address was actually a store. I contacted Agoda through the app and got replies by email and WhatsApp. Once they confirmed the hotel didn't exist, they offered a refund or cashback. I chose a full refund, gave them my account number when asked, and the money I paid through Agoda was back in my account in under 10 minutes. They also gave me a hotel voucher worth $1.33. Thanks, Agoda, for responding so quickly.

I transferred payment through Agoda, but when I got to the hotel location, it wasn't there. Someone at a local store told me I was the sixth victim and there could be more after me. I'm exhausted and have lost all the money I worked for. Please be careful if you're considering this hotel.
