I booked an apartment through Travelio, and the nice photos and ratings on its website turned out to be a façade. The place was awful: dirty walls, windows, and rooms, plus bathrooms with mold between the tiles and on the sink. The kitchen lights didn't work, there were holes in the walls, and spiderwebs on the ceiling. I can't believe anyone would rent these apartments out. When I asked for a refund, they ignored me. Don't stay here.
The place is okay when it's quiet, but weekends and holidays are a nightmare. It's far too crowded, and you can wait ages for the elevator to reach your room. The air conditioning doesn't work on every floor, so you end up sweating while waiting.
There were no towels, toilet paper, soap, or Wi-Fi. The receptionist couldn't answer my questions, so I had to message the manager on WhatsApp. No reply came until the next morning, which was terrible communication. At night there's no receptionist, only security. One of the guards told me to wear a mask, and I refused.
From the 7th floor apartment, the view is nice, and there are four pools for kids and adults, along with a toilet and a gym. The place is in central makassar, costs a good price, and is nice for spending time. There's a Minimart and ATM BNI near the office, and a mosque close by.
It's a small apartment, but everything is laid out well. Security feels strong too: you need a magnetic card to get through the door or use the elevator.
