Breakfast was better than I expected for an affordable hotel, with plenty of choices and pretty good taste. The rooms were nice too, and the price felt very fair for the quality. Staff were helpful and checked whether we needed anything. I’d recommend it if you’re staying nearby.

After two days of flying from Miami to Makassar, I was exhausted and jet-lagged, but the room was so dirty I couldn't rest. The linens looked used and hadn't been changed. It was also much smaller than I expected, and I could barely open my luggage. The description promised a beautiful lagoon view under “happiness lagoon,” but there was no view of one. A bug kept flying around the room, maybe a fly or a mosquito, and I won't even get into the bathroom. Very disappointed.

There’s a playground and a pool for small children, so it could work well for a family trip, and the hotel is affordable. Service and location were good too. Food is available from the restaurant, either by room service or dining there, though the selection is limited. The standard rooms are small but still have enough room to move around. They aren’t very soundproof, so you hear guests walking past. Cleanliness was questionable, with cockroaches bothering the food we left on the table. The bathroom water pressure, though, was really strong, which I liked.

I had trouble getting hot water in the shower, and my room didn’t have a wardrobe for clothes. I wouldn’t call it a good hotel for business travelers or people holidaying alone.
