RedDoorz Plus near Universitas Negeri Makassar

The price was okay when I booked through RedDoorz, and I booked late checkout. The room was a good size for one or two people, with mineral water and towels provided, and the AC and TV were fine. Cleanliness could be better: there was hair on the sheets and cigarette butts on the table. The toilet was fairly clean, the shower, bidet, and water heater all worked okay, though there was only a little liquid soap. It's by the roadside, so traffic noise is loud.

The room was filthy, with dirty, smelly sheets. They replaced the sheets after I complained, but left the blanket as it was. There were cobwebs all over and dirt covering the floor. I booked through the app for 150, but on arrival they charged 180,000 IDR, plus another 50,000 IDR for checking in early.

I stayed five days with my family while accompanying my wife to a PPG inauguration event. The event took just one day, and we spent the remaining time visiting famous tourist attractions in Makassar. The hotel was comfortable enough, affordable, and close to the places we wanted to see. I hope to come back.

The room itself was okay, and I do like the place, but I've been charged a different price than the app showed twice. The first time, the app listed 130 and check-in cost 160,000. The second time it showed 230,000 at check-in, then the price became 350,000. Please update the app prices soon. 🙏 Thanks.
