The room wasn't clean, and the sheets had stains. Its only window faced the main hall, so people talking outside disturbed us at night and early in the morning, while hall light came through around the clock. The AC took a long time to cool the room, and most staff didn't know English. People were talking outside our room all the time. We didn't like this hotel, especially since it cost more than anywhere else we stayed in Java.

There are lots of cafes around, and the location is very convenient. The guest room was clean, and breakfast was great. There was only one waiter serving the whole restaurant, though. I hope the hotel management can bring in more staff to help.

The breakfast is all-you-can-eat, and it tasted good if you got there early while it was still warm. Service was friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Parking in front and behind was enough, though it could be a bit limited. I paid IDR 350k a night, which felt like excellent value for the quality. Both my sister's room and mine were tidy, clean, comfortable, and had no strange smell, at least to us. The spacious "family meeting room" in the corridor was a funny bonus, hehe, but the chair there was dusty and set off my allergies. I'm satisfied :D

The rooms are comfortable and spotless, and the service is perfect, always with a smile. The price for the quality is very good. The location suited us, though it depends where you want to be. This will definitely be our go-to hotel when we visit Malang.
