Affordable price, nice room, and good service.

The staff are friendly, and the location is convenient, near the city center and the culinary center. My room was clean, fragrant, and fairly comfortable. Prices are still affordable, so it’s recommended for backpackers. I’d suggest the VIP room, which is roomier and more comfortable.

The service was good, and the location was fairly strategic. The room was okay, though mine felt a bit cramped compared with the more spacious room next door. I had an unpleasant night on the second floor. Around 12-2 am, some drunk people were making a fuss. There were also Timorese people making a fuss, and I didn’t sleep well.

It’s easy to get to both Malang City and Batu from this strategic location. The rooms are a little cramped, but they work well for solo travelers. I’d recommend staying on the lower level, since all those trips up and down the stairs to the upper rooms can get tiring.

Close to Malang city’s culinary center, and very conveniently located.
