The bathroom was fairly clean, and there were two bottles of mineral water and soap. But there was no hot water. The TV didn't connect to the internet, so it was basically just a display. I thought the AC would be a proper air conditioner, but it was only a fan styled like one. The bed was foam, not a spring mattress, with no mattress underneath, and it felt like a boarding house. I ordered through Reddit; the price was cheap, with only an extra 50,000 Rupiah.
I booked through the Agoda app, but customer service strangely said they couldn't find an order under my name in their app. In the end, they told me to request a refund through the app, even though the amount wasn't much. As far as I know, bookings made through an app normally show up under your name when you check in and out, so this didn't seem right. The place also looks shabby and poorly maintained. I hope they improve it in the future 🙏🏻
When you arrive, they ask for extra money because the app price doesn't match, or they won't refund you because they say the app price was cheaper. We customers don't care. 🙂
The hotel is really bad. There were cockroaches, and the room window wouldn't close. They asked for extra money because the price didn't match Traveloka. If they can't honor the same price, they should just close the place instead of working with this dog. When I got a refund, I couldn't accept it.
Thank God, this place is a good option if you're keeping to a reasonable budget. It has a comfortable feel and mountain views, and there's a Madura shop right across from the inn that's open 24 hours. I'd recommend staying here, but watch out for scams pretending to be the inn.
