It’s Ijen, so that says plenty. The price is quite affordable, and the bedroom is huge, though there’s no mirror, so bring your own. Trees surround the house, and birdsong wakes you up in the morning.

Inside Ijen Nirwana Malang, this small homestay has a surprisingly large room. It’s really quiet, which makes it a great pick for couples.

You can see hills or mountains from this quiet place, set inside an exclusive housing cluster. It feels like having your own bedroom at home, and costs around 200k++ rupiahs, which is reasonable. The room has AC, a 2-in-1 shampoo and soap, towels, and cable TV. There’s a coffee shop called Robucca nearby, plus lots of cafes around the housing, so the location is convenient.

I spent two nights here and had an amazing stay. The house was spacious, the room was clean, and the amenities were great. The lighting was especially nice for taking pictures, and the service was excellent. I’d definitely recommend this guest house.
