Griya Cempaka

I'm on my third day here, and I'm coughing badly now. People smoke in the lobby instead of outside, and the smoke comes into our room because we're on the same level. They shouldn't allow smoking indoors. The room itself is fairly clean, but the bedsheet and duvet have lots of old stains. The AC barely cools, almost as if it isn't on.

After the road trip from Bali to Malang, I was exhausted and had a headache. I asked if they could let me check in just 30 minutes early, since the rooms were already ready, but they still made me wait until 2 o'clock, even though the staff weren't doing anything. The check-in rules felt very rigid. I would never stay here again or recommend this hotel.

I came across this place by chance when only four rooms were left, after canceling my earlier booking at another hotel. The room was very clean, cool, and comfortable, a good place to relax after traveling. Thanks for the service. I’d consider staying here again on my next trip.

The receptionist's attitude was bad. The crew need more training to give heartfelt service and learn to be friendly and communicate well. Thanks in advance.
