It's a quiet spot away from the crowds, which could make it a good choice if that's what you're after. The hotel was very clean, but the furniture is quite old and needs an upgrade. My Superior Room didn't have enough power outlets for a two-day stay. The electric water heater seemed improperly grounded and was unreliable, sometimes failing to heat the water, though the water pressure was good. Breakfast choices were limited but acceptable.

I liked breathing in the fresh forest air and hearing the insects in the evening. The place sits right at the edge of the jungle and feels very quiet. The staff are super friendly. There are rooms by reception and bungalows reached by stairs.

The grounds have a lovely atmosphere, and it was really peaceful there. I felt well looked after by the wonderful staff, who were flexible and eager to help. My room was comfortable, though the pillows and window coverings could have been better.

I only stayed one night while visiting a friend in malang, so I didn't spend much time there. The room and view were great for the price. There was some rubbish outside the balcony, which made it a little uncomfortable, but it's still a great place to stay.
