The rooms are cramped and stuffy, and the bathrooms are dirty. But the bigger issue is the rules shown in the Oyo app: it says couples are allowed, then you arrive and find out the place is Sharia-compliant. If you book here through Oyo, be careful, so you don’t get scammed. Please update the app right away. As it is, it comes across like you’re cheating customers.

Trying to enjoy Malang, the city of rain, turned into a disaster because of this lousy hotel. The room was small, and the water wasn’t even hot. The service was extremely disappointing. When I asked for a refund, they told me to contact the hotel itself, and that took a long time.

The parking lot was far away, though someone was there to take you. The road was too narrow, and the internet kept going up and down. Inside, the room was stuffy and a bit dirty, the bathroom drain was clogged, and there was no size difference between a double bed room and a king bed room. I can’t say much else.

I was on the 3rd floor. Everything was normal, the AC was cold, the hot water worked well, and the TV had cable with complete channels. The place is still new, so everything was clean. There wasn’t carpet in the room interior on the 3rd floor when I stayed, though the 2nd floor already had it.
