Oyo 90319 Angler Guest House Malang

I’d recommend this guest house to anyone coming to Malang. It’s peaceful and handy for both the universities and restaurants. The WiFi was fast, and there’s filtered water on every floor. There’s a nice coffee shop attached, too.

The building is clean, modern, and tidy, and the housing area is quiet with little traffic. It’s warm and pleasant to stay in, though voices from the first-floor living room carry up to rooms on the second floor. The shower’s hot water was unreliable at times.

Booking and check-in were easy by phone, with no advance payment needed, and the moderate price works for a family trip. The bed was comfortable, breakfast had a good range of rice dishes plus coffee and tea, and the room and bathroom were clean and neat. It’s in a very quiet, closed neighborhood. I’m giving it four stars because the air conditioner in room no 27 wasn’t cool enough, which matters to me even in chilly Malang. #LetsGuide

The photos give a good impression, but the place is old and the rooms are tiny. At this price it’s an okay deal, though I’d only suggest it for someone traveling alone.
