3WILL Bunaken Dive Resort

The food was the best part for me. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner were all really good, and the staff were so helpful that they even took me to the village to find medicine. The dogs are adorable, too, and the Starlink WiFi worked pretty reliably. We spent four nights at 3 will. The room was clean and roomy, with storage, a desk, a good shower, tinted windows, and a big terrace. The AC was a little weak, but I was glad to have it. They also provide an outdoor place to dry your things. Diving was great: friendly instructors, clean boats, well-kept newer gear, and good sites. We saw at least 5-8 turtles on each dive. Loved the stay and would come back.

The reef just offshore is one of the island's best, and the food comes in generous portions with plenty of variety. The bungalows are kept up well, the setting is lovely, and the staff are attentive. I'd particularly suggest number 18 if you want a very spacious bungalow in a quiet spot. Snorkeling fins aren't available to rent, which seems normal for a place focused on diving. Transfers cost a little more than at other places to stay.

The house reef had the clearest visibility of the snorkeling spots I tried, and I saw loads of turtles, including some bigger than me! The staff were friendly and the place is well maintained. Some villagers offered cheaper snorkeling and dolphin tours, but the in-house trips cost more for a reason. The food was good, too. I loved gentle, friendly Cheetah and Bono!

The staff were so kind, upbeat, and helpful. There were spaces set aside for relaxing, sunbathing, and getting a massage, which was a nice extra. Our room was clean, comfortable, and big, and the resort had a gorgeous view over a tropical beach. It felt like a dream destination.
