There was no mosquito net, and nowhere to use your own. Breakfast was okay. The people were kind and did their best, but the room cleanliness may not meet Western standards, even if it's quite acceptable by Indonesian standards. Our window was broken and wouldn't close all the way, which worried us at night because of the rats and other small wild animals in the area. In the end, though, we had no animal problems.

The waiting area had a bad smell, but the room was clean and the waitresses were nice. I liked the stay overall, and it didn't cost much.

The price doesn't feel like good value. The rooms are okay, but the bathroom and towels smell, there was no hot shower water, and the water dispenser on the floor was empty. I'd skip breakfast.

The location is the real plus. Manado Town Square is close enough to walk to without breaking a sweat. I only stayed one night to catch my 6 a.m. flight, and the room and facilities were so-so. Since the pandemic, there's been no breakfast, so bring at least bread and milk for the night before. The receptionist was the only staff member who was humble enough. The others were rude, had no manners, and didn't seem qualified to be called hoteliers. That's one star for service and a bonus star for the location. You're welcome, prince.
