We'd already paid for the second night online and received confirmation, but the property rejected the booking, saying it had never come through. We were also charged the taxes twice, once by agoda and once by the owner. The owners had a bad attitude.

The road in is muddy and unpaved, and the location wasn't good. The place was dirty with lots of insects, especially in the bathroom. I booked a room with air conditioning, but on arrival they wanted extra money for it. Even then, it was basically just a fan and didn't cool the room.

Friendly staff, good facilities, and a clean, tidy place. It has a local feel, though the area seemed suspicious. They also had a sanitized stay setup, which made us feel safer and more comfortable.

At midnight, I ended up paying extra because the Rp 60,000 room I'd booked on TRAVELOKA was suddenly said to be unavailable due to a system error. They demanded more if we wanted to stay, and at that hour I felt I had no choice. That's why I left a bad review, not because the room was dirty, the air conditioning didn't cool, or the owner kept a dog inside, though all of those were true too. If you do stay, my advice is to pay at the accommodation.
