The motorcycle rental was nice and affordable. During our two-night stay, though, we struggled to find anyone to help. The receptionist wasn't there around the clock, and we had to shout around to get someone's attention. We came from Senaru, two hours away, and on arrival were told the rate was different from the app and asked to pay a bit more. We agreed after a discussion and some back and forth. The room wasn't pleasant: moss covered the shower floor, the curtain looked unwashed, the wardrobe was dusty, the front door was damaged, the mirror handle fell off, and there were loads of mosquitoes.

The garden and pool are lovely, and the place itself is beautiful. But the staff didn't seem to know what was going on. Even when we spoke Indonesian, they didn't understand us, and they seemed to be seeing a tourist for the first time. The room wasn't clean either, and the sheets weren't clean, so I didn't feel comfortable sleeping there. The walls were dirty from humidity and need freshening up. Such a shame, since a little refresh could make it a nice place.

The location and staff were five stars for me. The place is very nice, but there’s room to improve: the sheets weren’t really clean, there was no trash bin in the toilet or room, and someone had smoked inside before we checked in and left a cigarette in the toilet bowl.

It feels like being at somebody's home, really cozy. You can cook and make your own coffee, and it's easy to get around since it's right in the city center. If I visit Mataram, I'll make sure to stay here again.

They only make the bed. The rooms and toilets don't get cleaned, with poo and piss stains and no toilet paper. I've never seen a hotel room this dirty, even at really cheap hostels. I even found old cigarettes in the shower. Avoid it. They won't clean the place, and will just ask you to pay more for a villa, which wasn't much better for the price.
