Antares Hotel

I enjoyed the swimming pool, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The location didn't seem very good to me, and being so close to two mosques meant loud, prolonged calls to prayer many times a day. Breakfast was nice each morning, especially the fresh fruit.

This hotel feels average to me. The decor is kind of old, and the lobby toilet is really small. There's only one lift, with room for four passengers at most, so I wouldn't suggest it for meetings. They also have a disinfectant chamber at the entrance for guests, which I don't recommend using.

Old but gold for me. I had a nice experience here, with a good breakfast and a neat, clean cafe. The location is good too, just walking distance from the iconic mosque in medan. Some staff could be friendlier and know better how to serve guests. A water heater or teapot in the room would be handy for making coffee or tea without going downstairs for warm water. Keep all the good things.

The first room smelled strongly of cigarettes. When we told the front desk, she looked annoyed and insisted, "that room is smoke-free room!" God knows, it smelled like cigars. The restaurant is too small, and people are smoking freely there even with the AC on. The room was also too small for what they charged. Not recommended. You can find better hotels in Medan.
