We had a confirmed room that we’d already paid for, but the staff said they only process cash. They wouldn’t listen or even look at our booking. Really bad.

At 10:30 p.m., the manager of this particular Red Doorz demanded another 75,000 rupiah, saying she would kick us out if we didn’t pay. The service was absolutely awful, and the room was noisy, not clean at all, and cost more than advertised. My tip is to avoid RedDoorz in Indonesia. They’re taking over without bothering to provide the service. Look elsewhere.

I stayed one night on August 4, 2020. The room and service were excellent.
