The breakfast was bad too, with cold rice and chicken that had no taste. My room was old and in terrible condition, dirty with mold on the wall. There was hair on the bed and a yellow stain on the toilet. How does this hotel have a 4-star rating? Very bad, I wouldn't recommend it.

After a bad motorbike crash at Lake Toba that badly injured my right arm, I stayed at this hotel for two nights. The staff looked after me brilliantly, helping with doors and bags from beginning to end. They even packed for my flight home because I couldn't roll my clothes tightly enough to fit in my bag. Absolute superstars. 🙏

The staff are friendly and treat guests in that classic hotel style. For 50.000 IDR, the breakfast buffet is quite good. It's a classy-looking, old-fashioned hotel, and the room was spacious and comfortable, though a little odd: there was no way to turn off the light by the entrance.

The view of yuki simpang and the grand mosque is so good. It's a nice, comfy place to enjoy.

10/10
The rooms feel a little old-fashioned and could use some updates, but they're cozy and clean. For the price, it's a pretty good deal right in the city center. Breakfast doesn't offer much variety, though it tastes good and hits the spot, and the staff are friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Madani Hotel is hard to beat if you want to be near the city buzz in Medan. The Grand Mosque and the mall are just a short walk away, and the room prices are very reasonable.
