The staff seemed indifferent and weren't friendly. It's also far from other facilities, and I wouldn't recommend staying here 😡. I paid in full for five days, but they still asked for a deposit, even though it would be returned at checkout. I'm not sure why that was relevant. There wasn't even a plate or glass to borrow. Breakfast was forgotten unless I asked for it, despite having paid. The water in my bathroom wouldn't run, and I heard other guests say theirs was off too. Meanwhile, water kept gurgling through the corridor day and night, making it hard to sleep. The place feels really rustic.

I had to get out of my room in the middle of the night and sleep on the hotel couch because bedbugs were crawling all over me. I got no refund, and the staff just laughed. That was arrogant behavior. The towels and bed sheets were dirty, and there was no soap in the bathroom. Maybe this was a beautiful place five years ago, but now it's a mess. It's the worst place I've ever stayed in Medan, and I can't recommend it. This place should be closed. I'd give it zero stars.

Be extremely careful with your belongings. Something very expensive, worth $800, was stolen from our room. Don't leave your room to go to the market.

RD Plus is a little way from the main road. Bring your own towel and toiletries, since they aren't provided. You might also need mosquito gel.

For this price, it's hard to ask for more. The rooms are simple but clean, and the crew were helpful and had a good attitude. Good job.
