Hotel O Tridasa

I'm done staying at Tridasa 5A.49. The toilet was blocked, and both the water hose and shower hose were leaking, so I couldn't even take a shower. When I reported it, the worker said he already knew about the leak. Why hadn't anyone fixed it? That makes no sense.

When we arrived, security just watched us, and nobody else came over to guide us or help with our luggage. The AC was off, so the room was incredibly hot. The sheets, pillowcases, and blankets all looked like previous guests had used them and they hadn't been changed. I really wouldn't recommend this place.

We enjoyed our stay and would come back, even with a few things that were tolerable. The rooftop pool on the 22nd floor has lovely views, and for the affordable price the amenities are more than you'd expect: TV, AC, mini-fridge, sink, and hot shower. The cleaning seemed careless, though. The terrace had cigarette butts all over it, there was lots of hair on the floor, the bedcover was stained, and the pillows were brown and had no covers. Maybe the low price is why the cleaning staff don't seem to do their job properly.

Around 160,000 Rupiah is a great price with breakfast, and getting to Gajah Mada, Sunggal, Setia Budi, the intercity bus stop, and other places is convenient. From the 10th-19th floors, the view is a bit odd, looking out over residential lights at night. The problem seems to be a marketing trick. When reception tells most guests there are no rooms because it's fully booked, they send them to marketing staff, who offer a regular room for 300,000 Rupiah with the line that it's the last one. That can leave customers confused when trying to book again, especially if they arrive late. I tried reserving early and got the same response: "Your reservation didn't go through." So the regular room costs 300,000 Rupiah, and there's no staff to ask for help like there would be at other apartments.
