Townhouse Oak Medan near Universitas Sumatera Utara formerly Raz Residence

I've worked for another hotel chain and have closed hotels for health reasons. I'll book a stay here myself and give my honest opinion. If it's really bad, I'll talk to friends in senior positions and get the hotel professionally cleaned. If the staff are too lazy, they'll be replaced.

I didn't feel safe staying here. The workers came into our room and took our belongings without permission. Housekeeping also seems to enter whenever they want, without knocking or checking if anyone is inside. This place doesn't feel safe anymore. If you're staying here for a short vacation, please be careful.

The room was soooo dirty, with loads of ants and bugs, even on the bed. The hallway light was off, and so was the bathroom light. It felt like being in a horror movie. The receptionist wasn't friendly at all 🤷🏻‍♀️ sorry to say...

There were two security guards, so I felt it was safe, and the employees were friendly enough. The location is pretty convenient, and the hotel is big, with a large parking area. I stayed on the fourth floor, but there's a lift. My double deluxe room was really big, with a TV, AC, bed, and shower bathroom. The bed was tidy, though dusty, so I had to pat it down. The bathroom wasn't clean enough, which could bother anyone who's a clean freak. The Wi-Fi was really bad and didn't reach my room. For what I paid, I got five-star hotel facilities, except breakfast, which I didn't mind. I love this hotel and might stay again next time I'm in Medan. I didn't take pictures of the bedroom and other things, so I used screenshots from the OYO app. The pictures are real.
