Bobocabin The Tavia Puncak

It’s a lovely area with plenty to discover, but getting around is very limited without a car. The location was also a little difficult to find.

The cabins were much smaller than I expected, and I could barely move inside. There’s room for a bed and a small divider for the bathroom, and not much else. The river beside the property is filthy and full of rubbish. The hotel or local government should do something about it. Bobocabin is within an abandoned or still under-construction hotel, with a deserted gym and dirty swimming pool. The stay was horrible for these reasons. Do yourself a favor and don’t come here.

The sound of the stream passing by gives the place a quiet, back-to-nature feel. The staff were friendly and helpful, and getting to the location was straightforward, though more signs would help guests avoid driving around in circles. The room was fairly clean and had air conditioning. Even though it was shared, the bathroom was exceptionally clean and well maintained. From the outside, the cabin could use a little maintenance.

The tall, shady trees keep the pleasant atmosphere cool, and the room was clean and comfortable. The fast Wi-Fi was a nice touch for the kids, and the staff hospitality was top notch. Special thanks to Ms. Amelia at the front, who was really informative and helpful. It’s rare to meet staff like Ms. Amelia, especially at accommodation that isn’t a 5 star hotel. This was our first stay with family, and we were very satisfied. My only suggestion is to make the hotel sign bigger, especially on the main road of the Puncak highway, so customers don’t miss it.
