Hotel Gerbera

We found the family room suited us well for travelling with both elderly relatives and kids. Breakfast was simple but delicious, with several menu options; we had ketupat. Room service was affordable, and the cozy hotel has lots of facilities nearby. The small, clean pool is good for children and for a little stretching. And free karaoke was the real bonus for me :)

The place was tidy, comfortable, and quiet, with service that was quite satisfying. It's close to tourist attractions and interesting restaurants.

I thought it was affordable and worth the money, and the staff were friendly and provided good service. The place isn't well maintained, though. The water heater seemed to offer only very hot or very cold water, not the warm setting we expected. The room was veeeerry small. It came with coffee and tea but no electric jug, just an insulated bottle that held enough for one serving.

For a 2 stars hotel, it was great. I booked a family room and a superior room for our family vacation. The staff were very friendly, and although the hotel is near the main street, it wasn't noisy. Convenience stores and food are easy to find nearby. The downsides were a slightly smelly toilet, yellowish bed sheets, a bed placed off center from the AC, and a not-so-clean area under the bed. It's near Cimory Dairyland, though the weather was still hot here.
