A decent low-cost option: the room had a mattress, a fan, and a toilet.

The location is handy in the city center, and the owner was friendly. Rooms cost about 50-60 thousand per night. Still, the room looked nothing like the photos and was poorly kept, with plenty of dust. The bathroom is outside the room, like at a typical inexpensive boarding house, and it was dirty too. They no longer take online bookings, so if you have already booked, you have to cancel. The owner seems to have trouble handling cancellations, perhaps because of his age, so I had to contact the booking app’s customer service, Agoda in my case.

They take payment through the app, then ask you for more money. I think this is a scam and they’re making money illegally. Don’t book here.

What a waste. I came all the way here at night with my husband and children, but they wouldn’t let me in and gave no clear reason. The money can’t be refunded, and the booking can’t be cancelled.

I was turned away after coming all the way here at night, with no apparent explanation. There’s no way to cancel or get a refund. Very disappointing.
