Amazing Lombok Resort

The little things worked well for a month here: a quiet room, comfy bedding, a good bathroom with strong hot water pressure, and Starlink that stayed reliable while we worked. We came to south Lombok after a busy New Year in Sydney, hoping to get some rest and return to our digital nomad routine. The resort gave us that peaceful reset, with green surroundings and a relaxed feel. The rooms look great in photos but still felt homey. Several beaches and restaurants were a pretty ride of about five minutes away by motorbike. We used the pool every day, and it was kept in lovely shape. The on-site restaurant was a pleasant surprise too. Breakfast became part of our routine, the cocktails in the evening were excellent, and the daily specials were often our meal highlights. We were there for four weeks in the off-season and often had the place nearly to ourselves. Stefan and Karen, the owners who live on-site, were warm and happy to chat most days while giving us our privacy. We also got to know the rest of the team, who were kind, helpful, and cheerful, and went out of their way to make us comfortable. A couple of small trade-offs: the road to the resort can get rough in the rainy off-season, though it was manageable, and motorbike rentals in Lombok cost about twice as much as in Bali, with no monthly discounts. Still, we’d happily return.
