The view of mount merbabu is the standout, and you can see the pair of mountains from the deck, which is also a nice spot for a selfie with them behind you. I’d stay here again if I came back to this area. It’s a lovely, peaceful hotel with clean, cozy, fairly large rooms, though there isn’t much seating. The staff were friendly and professional. There was a technical issue with the room downlight, which sounded electrical. Shops are a long way off, but there are some local food places nearby.

The reception team made a great impression: they were very friendly, quick, and helpful, including with a room change for a faulty room and lending an umbrella in heavy rain. The double bed is very large too. Sadly, the positives mostly stop there. The room condition needs work. There were stains or marks on the sheets and pillows, possible sewage odor in the toilet, and the shower pressure kept changing. Hot water was limited, so it may be fine if you're alone or take quick showers, but it wasn't very comfortable. There were insects in the room too, either flies, big ants, or mosquitoes depending on the room. Sevilla's hotel looks bright and appealing, and the staff are lovely, but better cleanliness would make a real difference to the stay.

I spent four nights here on a work trip. It was a quiet little refuge among pretty rice fields, though the nearest minimarket is around 3 km away. There are just two floors, so no elevator. My room was clean, but the sink was clogged at first. The staff got it fixed quickly. Breakfast is ordered from a menu rather than served as a buffet, and I especially liked the Bihun Goreng and Capcay Goreng. The pool is fairly spacious, but seemed neglected, with some algae in the water. Still, it’s a pleasant place if you want a quiet break.

The hospitality and the view helped make up for the poorly maintained pool. My room was just so-so, with very little cabinet space. The electricity kept cutting out, which also stopped the water. Sorry to give it only three stars.
