Gelih Bungalows

The place had a warm, relaxing feel, and everything seemed well cared for. My room was comfortable and clean, the location worked perfectly, and the staff were so friendly. I really enjoyed my stay and would happily come back.

The constant chicken noises from the nearby hen keepers went on day and night, and I couldn't sleep. There also aren't any amenities around the property. I came from India with my family for a vacation and booked through Airbnb, which I deeply regret. Calling this place a bungalow feels like a scam. The rooms were dim and unclean, and the kitchen was so messy and neglected that cooking a meal there seemed impossible. A bad experience, and I wouldn't recommend it.

I booked and paid through Airbnb for two nights, and everything was confirmed. The host reported no issue during our stay, but when it was time to leave, he demanded that I pay the full amount in cash, saying Airbnb hadn't paid him. We weren't the only ones. There were so many bags left at the entrance, held there while customers went to an ATM to get cash. I won't get into the bungalows themselves, since I wasn't expecting five-star accommodation, but I've never been scammed like this.

I came here planning to move on again after two weeks, but I fell for the place and stayed. The grounds and rooms are beautiful, quiet, and well kept, and the pool is very clean. The staff have been friendly and helpful throughout.
