The manager was very kind and friendly, and spoke English very well. The cottage sits on a hill with an amazing view: a beautiful sunrise, blue ocean, and views of the beach and Lombok island. Our room was really big, with a clean, large bathroom and a big bedroom. Free WiFi had a good signal, and there was ample parking.

The owner's local tips for places to eat and visit made exploring the island even more memorable. The cottages were clean and cozy, a lovely place to come back to. We felt welcome from the minute we arrived, thanks to how kind and thoughtful the owner was. Such a wonderful stay at Mesari Cottages, and I can't wait to return.

We found this place at the last minute and were lucky to get it. Everything in the room was in place and very clean, including the towels and tissues. The owner is one of the nicest people I've met, so humble and always smiling, and the food was great too. It's a little way from the port, just so you know, but the elevation gives you a lovely beach view and sunset. A perfect place to stay.

If you're after a quiet stay on this beautiful island, I'd definitely recommend Mesari Cottage. The owner and staff were friendly and helpful, and the cozy cottage made a great place to unwind. The food could be better, though it was acceptable. Thanks for the warm hospitality, I had a really lovely stay.

The room was simple but spotless, and both the Wi-Fi and air conditioning worked really well. The area is peaceful, and it's closer to some other restaurants nearby; Diamond Beach is about a 30 minute scooter ride away. The owner was so kind and attentive, even bringing breakfast to our room every day. Great affordable place to stay in Nusa Penida.
