Unicorn Bungalow

The bungalow was basic, but the place is really cute and the bungalows have lovely sea views. Breakfast is included, simple but very good, and the staff are amazing. Had a great stay.

It was just my husband and me at the property during our five nights, so it felt very peaceful. We could choose our breakfast time the evening before, which worked well since we headed out early to beat the crowds. The road up is steep, seriously, but my husband is an experienced rider and we managed fine. The view of Mt. Agung was stunning, and at night we asked to turn off the lights so we could stargaze. We spotted lots of constellations, including Leo. Our room was clean and the beds and sheets were comfortable. The bathroom was large and clean too, though the water tasted a little salty. The room lighting is dim. I liked the atmosphere, but it was hard to see. There are halal places nearby, including Bakso and mie ayam. Worth the money.

The driveway coming up from the road is very steep. A scooter is fine, but if you’re older and not fit, I’d look elsewhere. Apart from that, I’d happily stay again. The location is handy, there are good restaurants nearby, and the staff are great.

We spent six nights here and really liked the bungalow style. The view of mount Agung is beautiful, and it’s a great base for a diving trip. Breakfast was good for the accommodation price, and the friendly staff cleaned the bungalows every day. The bathroom could smell better, though, since it has no window. There’s also a very friendly puppy around. Please feed him, I think he’s homeless 🙏
