Pradana Beach Inn Luxury

A nice stay if you want a calmer, less crowded area. Popular tourist spots are a bit farther away, but there are tasty places to eat just a 1-5 minute walk down the beach. The staff were very helpful and arranged taxis for us several times.

The staff were really nice, even though they hardly spoke English, but the place didn't live up to its luxury label. It needs a thorough clean and maintenance. We couldn't flush the toilet, and there was a strange bathroom smell. The location also felt poor, far from everything. The TV didn't work and had no English channels. The website showed spa pictures, but there isn't a spa. Breakfast advertised an omelette with mushrooms and potatoes, but neither was included. I won't return.

The rooms were neat and clean, the service was good, and breakfast tasted good too. The property is right in front of a beach, though it's not much of a beach. They rent scooters, but the vehicles are only average. It's a bit far from the places to visit and most restaurants, though it's fairly central, with the two sides of Nusa Penida about equally far away.

This is a very economical hotel, but it's quite basic and the service isn't great, even though the staff try to help. It needs some more basic facilities. There were mosquitoes in the room and the staff couldn't do anything about them. Breakfast was very bad. The fruit platter was only six small pieces, about 5 cms each, and it wasn't a buffet. The AC in each room is small and won't work effectively in hot weather. Keep expectations low: it's like a very basic Airbnb with a few rooms, and the location is the better part.
