Seven Angels Villa and Hostel

The room was spacious, cleaned daily, and supplied with fresh towels. The grounds were green and looked after each day, and the staff were friendly and ready to help. The shared kitchen needs better attention to hygiene. During my week there, staff didn’t clean it, and small bits of food sat on the counter for days. The cooking surface, stove, and fridge should be disinfected and cleaned at least daily, rather than leaving it to guests. The only pan was in very bad shape, and one pan wasn’t enough for four rooms. There were no cups, just glasses that got unbearably hot with tea or coffee. Spoons and a few knives were available, but forks would be useful too.

The shower’s warm water didn’t last long, and the tube was leaking pretty badly. That was really my only complaint. Otherwise, it was a quiet, pleasant place, cleaner than any hotel I’d stayed at before on Bali. The owner and staff were very nice and always willing to help.

The beds were comfortable, the furniture was new, and the staff were lovely. It was easy to rent a bike or arrange a taxi. A few things could be better: the bathroom needs an electrical outlet, and the room could use a clothes hanger. The window also doesn't open. Still, it's a pleasant place to stay, and I'd recommend it.

The rooms are roomy and clean, and the setting is peaceful. I'd definitely recommend it.
